Provincial Outreach Programs


British Columbia’s Ministry of Education funds a number of unique programs to help meet the educational needs of low-incidence students in BC school districts. The following Provincial Outreach Programs (POPs) provide community-based services for low incidence students in partnership with BC public school districts and Group I and II independent schools.  

  • PIOP - Provincial Inclusion Outreach Program
  • POPARD - Provincial Outreach Program for Autisn & Related Disorders
  • POPDHH - Provincial Outreach Program for Students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
  • POPDB - Provincial Outreach Program for Students with Deafblindness
  • PRCVI - Provincial Resource Centre for the Visually Impaired
  • AOPRP - Auditory Outreach Provincial Resource Program
  • POPFASD - Provincial Outreach Program for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder
  • POPEI - Provincial Outreach Program for Early Intervention
  • SET-BC - Special Education Technology BC
